TV Broadcast with Jim Rogers on the Financial Meltdown

Good interview with hedge fund manager Jim Rogers on the reasons for the current Financial Meltdown.

Aside from his views on the politics of the bailout, what is interesting is that Rogers takes a global, opportunistic perspective on investing, while the fund industry, by design, is focused only on a static, specific sector of the market.

In a global economy, Rogers can go where the opportunities are, while the average fund investor is a long-only investor who is too far removed from the fast-moving markets to take advantage of any mispricing opportunities.
